BE THE CHANGE.
Tired of hearing hurtful comments in the hallways? Mean words about your friends? Respond with kindness.
“Be kind to unkind people - they need it the most” -Ashleigh Brilliant
Here is the challenge: Say 3 nice things every day about someone, even if they have not been kind to you. It's supposed to be hard. Let's change our school culture to one of kindness, encouragement and support. You can also post positive messages on our Panther Wall.

THE STORY OF THE CRAB BUCKET
One day a boy and his father were walking along the beach. The boy noticed a crab catcher carrying a bucket of crabs. The crab bucket did not have a top on it. He asked his father why the crabs were not able to escape.
His father said, "If there was only one crab in the bucket it would certainly escape. However, when there is more than one crab in the bucket, if one tries to crawl out, the other crabs grab hold and pull it back down so that it will share the same fate as the rest of them. ”
The boy's father said, “ This is true with people. If one person attempts to better himself, others, often those close to him, will attempt to drag him back down."
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY! If we build each other up with our words, we will all be better!
